Established in 2000, Brittany Cason Interior Design (BCID) is a full-service interior design firm passionate about blending the past and present to curate bold, sophisticated spaces. By weaving historical and architectural details with modern flair, BCID creates timeless designs that mirror the personalities of each client and project. BCID has been published in Luxury Magazine, Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles magazine, Atlanta HOME magazine, Southern Lady magazine, Schumacher's One Hundred Rooms to Know and Love, Business of Home, the LA Times, and Augusta Magazine. Additionally, Brittany curated a table at the New York Botanical Gardens Orchid Dinner in 2020, and has also participated in the 2019 and 2020 Atlanta Homes and Lifestyles Southeastern Designer Showhouse and Gardens, as well as the 2021 Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles Holiday Showhouse.

Brittany Cason Johnston is the founder of Brittany Cason Interior Design. Her love of art, history, and travel are the catalyst behind BCID’s distinctive work. Starting at an early age, Brittany’s passion for design has been paramount, and still to this day she continues to nurture this devotion through her various design projects. She and her talented team are hands-on throughout the design process - assisting clients and focusing on the specific details that add style and create comfort. Brittany enjoys learning about her clients, how they live and what brings them joy. It is these intimate details that enable her to be the artist and creator, bringing unique character and a meaningful richness to any space.

Brittany graduated from Georgia Southern University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design. Outside the sphere of her profession, Brittany resides in her hometown of Augusta, Georgia with husband, Harris, and young daughters, Virginia and Cason Anne. Naturally, she incorporates her love of entertaining and interior design into everyday living. She believes that her grandmother’s china is meant to be used and enjoyed when loved ones are gathered. It is a time for camaraderie and sincere conversation.

SENIOR interior designer

Taylor Callaghan

A native of Houston, Texas, Taylor graduated from the University of Georgia with a bachelor's degree in Furnishings and Interiors. While in school, she interned for a luxury interior design firm in London, England which allowed her to gain insight into the international design world. After graduation, Taylor moved to Atlanta where she worked as a project manager for the award-winning Robert Brown Interior Design for seven years. Here, she was able to form relationships with showrooms, vendors, and contractors.

Taylor joined BCID in the spring of 2022 as a full-time designer. With her years of experience in all aspects of the design process, Taylor intends to use this knowledge to create beautiful, unique spaces while executing the practical elements she knows are vital to design projects. When she’s not picking out luscious velvets or a bold trim, you can find her with a glass of wine in hand trying to squeeze in time with her husband Spencer, a resident at Augusta University. They are proud parents to a Golden Retriever puppy they adopted in the summer of 2022!

Studio coordinator

Mary linda lamar

Mary Linda joined the BCID team part time in late 2020. As an active community member, Mary Linda has played many roles in area arts, civic, and volunteer organizations in the Augusta area. As a teenager she interned with local designer, Jan Jackson Interiors, and briefly experienced the design world. She has worked in management of hospitality and arts businesses, worked as a development director for a local arts organization, and worked in a direct to consumer luxury clothing sales company before joining the team at Brittany Cason Interior Design as the Studio Coordinator.

She has enjoyed the past 18 months watching the design process from everything to luxury apartments in large cities, entire home rebuilds on the coast, to historical restoration and renovation on the Hill. Being described as both organized and diplomatic, she hopes to compliment the designers at BCID by providing customer support and relationships. She and her husband, George, live in Augusta and have 2 grown children.
