Nice To Meet You

A little short of two decades ago, I traveled into the interior world with one main purpose - to design unique and individual spaces. Today my goal remains - I am passionate as I’ve installed beautiful, one of a kind designs for clients across the country.

I grew up with a boundless desire for history and madly in love with the art of interior design. As a little girl I would spend hours with my grandmother, Mimi, fortunately picking up many of her talents: an eye for art, a love of history, and understanding that every occasion calls for a beautifully set table. Since starting Brittany Cason Interior Designs I’ve been fortunate enough to expand and develop a pretty amazing team. We’re dedicated to designing sophisticated spaces that are curated specifically for each individual client. Never will you walk into your neighbor’s living room and have deja vu.

When you embark on a journey with an interior designer, it is essential you select someone who best fits your vision and personality. I take time with our clients, understanding their needs, their likes and dislikes, and then my team and I create a sanctuary to be enjoyed. I believe there are specific attributes to BCID that distinguish our design from others.

So, what sets us apart?

In almost every BCID design you’ll embrace three key elements:

An Heirloom

Whether passed down from generations or a recent gift, in each design we draw inspiration from and incorporate meaningful pieces. Your antique china or grandmother’s chandelier may be the perfect element to add traditional and modern flair to your home.

Art

Your home comes alive when you adorn the walls with art. It doesn’t have to be expensive - perhaps a sentimental piece purchased while traveling can infuse inspiration and become the focal point of the design.

Art may be found in a non-traditional place - a vintage, circa 1940’s heirloom screen provides a stunning statement.

Sculptural Furniture & Preservation of Historical Architecture

At BCID, we’re passionate about preserving history and selectively integrating periodic pieces into a space. Whether an architectural element or a fireplace with a distinct mantle, embracing the past and blending the present often leads to a timelessly designed space - a client’s home.

History, with its meaning and relevance, has great impact on many of my design choices and signature aesthetic. I feel one should never focus on any particular period but allow a multitude of influences to create original and cohesive designs custom to an individual, family, or even business. I believe a space should tell the story of one’s heart and purpose, while nodding to the past and leaving a hint of the future.

I can’t wait to open a window into our daily routine and share the story of BCID with you. I want you to know what inspires me - old books and fashion - history really does repeat itself in unexpected treasures and exciting places. Art brings me great joy and I am excited to introduce some of my favorite artists. Most importantly, of all design accessories, I love silver and china. Timeless! I am simply passionate about a dining room - I get excited just thinking of all the possibilities.  I look forward to making new friends who share the same love and enthusiasm for design as I do. Come along as we continue our design journey - Enjoy!

Until tomorrow – or next time!
XxX, Brittany
